The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) has strongly condemned Imperialist U.S attack on the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, following airstrikes and missile attacks targeted the Capital, Caracas, as well as vital civilian, military and infrastructure facilities. In a statement, the PFLP said the assault represents a dangerous escalation and a clear violation of Venezuela’s sovereignty, characterizing it as a new chapter in Washington’s long-standing interventionist policies against Independent States.

The PFLP affirmed its full and unwavering support for Venezuela’s Leadership, Government and People, noting that President Nicolas Maduro and Venezuela are facing increasing pressure as a consequence of Venezuela’s declared political positions, including its support for oppressed peoples worldwide, most notably the Palestinian Struggle, and its rejection of foreign domination and colonial influence.

Drawing parallels between the attack on Venezuela and the ongoing Zionist aggression against Palestinian People, the PFLP stated that both aggressions stem from the same colonial mindset, aimed at undermining resistance movements.

The PFLP also considered the justifications put forward by the U.S administration, such as “combating smuggling” or “protecting democracy” as political pretexts used to legitimize military intervention, which is nothing but an imperialist piracy. Moreover, the PFLP said that these actions are intended to seize Venezuela’s natural resources and undermine its independent political decision-making, noting that the U.S thuggery represents a blatant violation of international law, established global norms and human values.

Reaffirming the inalienable right of the Venezuelan People to resist and defend their existence sovereignty by all means, the PFLP stressed that the national unity remains the most effective response to intimidation, airspace violations and external interference.

The PFLP called on the progressive and free forces across Latin America and around the world to formulate a unified international position to confront this aggression that poses a serious threat to global stability and peace, warning that continued U.S military madness could ignite new conflict zones, stressing that the aggression against Venezuela is an aggression against every country that adheres to its independent national decision.

The PFLP concluded by expressing confidence that Bolivarian, Chavez’s and Maduro’s Venezuela will emerge from the current crisis stronger and more resilient, asserting that no matter how much killing technology imperialist powers possess, it will remain unable to break the will of free peoples or achieve colonial ambitions.
