In the context of political stances related to what the media has termed \u201cthe wave of recognition of the Palestinian state\u201d, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine issued its position on the matter, clarifying its political vision on this step while stressing the priority of stopping the genocide committed by the Zionist entity for the past two years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The PFLP\u2019s representative in Algeria, Nader Al-Qaisi, affirmed that Algeria was the first country in the world to recognize the State of Palestine in 1988, during its proclamation from Algiers. He stressed that this stance reflects Algeria\u2019s steadfastness in supporting the Palestinian cause in various international forums through a diplomacy he described as \u201ca free and strong voice.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a statement to Algeria International Radio, as part of the program \u201cInternational Guest\u201d<\/em> this Wednesday, Al-Qaisi said that the global wave of recognition of the Palestinian state is the fruit of the steadfastness and sacrifices of the Palestinian people over 77 years. He pointed out that these recent recognitions carry political, legal, economic, and social dimensions that require investment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He added that the primary goal of these recognitions is to stop the genocide in Gaza, allow the entry of humanitarian aid, and end the Israeli occupation, highlighting that the \u201cAl-Aqsa Flood\u201d<\/em> operation was a decisive factor in moving international public opinion and pushing it toward these positions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Regarding voices that link the recognition of the Palestinian state to the disarmament of the resistance, Al-Qaisi clarified that \u201cthe weapon of the resistance represents the dignity of the Palestinian people, and it will not be up for discussion except after the establishment of the Palestinian state and by a Palestinian internal decision,\u201d considering such conditions are in line with the US-Israeli stance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The spokesperson emphasized that Palestinian national unity is an urgent necessity that can only be achieved through frank dialogue and the implementation of the Algiers Agreement, calling for the organization of the Palestinian internal house.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Commenting on U.S. President Donald Trump\u2019s meeting with several Arab and Islamic leaders at the United Nations headquarters in New York regarding the situation in Gaza, Al-Qaisi pointed out that the absence of any Palestinian party from the meeting \u201cconfirms that no one has the right to decide the fate of the Palestinian people except the Palestinians themselves.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Al-Qaisi concluded by emphasizing that the international isolation currently faced by the Zionist entity represents \u201ca historic opportunity that Palestinians and the free peoples of the world must seize to pressure for an end to the occupation,\u201d adding that \u201cthe Palestinian narrative today surpasses the Zionist narrative in various parts of the world.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
