The Palestinian Forum<\/a> in Madrid sent a message of support and solidarity to the Cuban people, on the occasion of the broad support from the majority of countries around the world to lift the embargo on Cuba, reflected in the vote that took place on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, of 165 States in the General Assembly of the United Nations<\/a> in favor of the call to end the embargo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Forum\u2019s message stated:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. We reaffirm the solidarity of the Palestinian Forum with the Cuban people and their ongoing struggle against imperialism, emphasizing that Cuba\u2019s steadfastness in the face of aggression and the imperialist blockade reflects the great will of its people and revolutionary forces.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. We view the resolution issued by the UN General Assembly as reflecting the position of the vast majority of the world\u2019s peoples toward the brutal imperialist policies and the forms of blockade and aggression practiced by the imperialist system against peoples struggling for freedom, independence, and true sovereignty over their resources.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. The policies of the imperialist system and U.S. hegemony have become further exposed due to their blatant partnership in the genocidal war against the Palestinian people and their aggressive policies toward the peoples of the world, which calls for global coordination among all forces that believe in the rights of peoples and reject imperialist domination and its crimes against nations.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
