Tens of thousands of demonstrators took to the streets in Belgium in a massive show of solidarity with the Palestinian people, condemning the ongoing genocidal war on the Gaza Strip and denouncing European silence and complicity in the face of Israeli crimes.
Participants raised Palestinian flags and banners calling for an immediate end to the Israeli assault, an end to impunity, and the imposition of sanctions on Israel, alongside expanding boycott campaigns on political, economic, cultural, and academic levels.
Protesters stressed that the crimes committed against Palestinian civilians — including killings, starvation, siege, and the targeting of infrastructure, hospitals, and journalists — place European governments before clear political, legal, and moral responsibilities, demanding concrete action against colonialism, racism, and genocide.
Demonstrators also emphasized that the continuation of popular mobilization across European streets and public squares has become an essential part of a broader global struggle for justice and the rights of oppressed peoples, affirming that Palestine today represents a universal humanitarian cause.
The protest further called for escalating grassroots, labor, and student pressure to boycott Israel, impose sanctions, and end all forms of political and economic support for the ongoing crimes against the Palestinian people.
