Throughout our contemporary history, the Palestinian and Syrian peoples have been united by strong bonds of brotherhood and shared destiny, especially in the face of the Zionist project of Judaization of Palestine and the occupied Syrian Golan. Both nations have played a courageous role in defending the nation and the dignity of their peoples and their sanctities against the conspiracies of the colonial West.

The Palestinian national and Islamic factions in Damascus stress that the events being witnessed by fraternal Syria are an internal affair. As our people are accustomed to doing, they do not interfere in the affairs of Syria or other Arab countries, but exercise all their fighting efforts in the service of their national cause in the face of the Zionist occupation project and for the legitimate national right to self-determination, freedom, independence and return to the homeland.

The Palestinian national and Islamic factions in Damascus sincerely aspire to the right of the Syrian people to determine their destiny and future and to build a united and fully sovereign Syria within a framework of freedom, justice, democracy and full equality of citizenship for all without discrimination and towards a stable, secure and prosperous future, in which Syria continues its fraternal and national duties towards the people of Palestine on the path towards the liberation of Jerusalem (Al-Quds Al-Sharif), Al-Aqsa and every inch of occupied Palestine.

The Palestinian national and Islamic factions condemn the statements of the fascist Israeli government and its threats to fraternal Syria and condemn its hostile acts that affected more than one place in Damascus and Syria, affirming their support to the Syrian people and their leaders to defend the sovereignty of the homeland, repel the aggression and liberate the occupied of their land.
